HVDC Cable Systems Symposium
Theory and Practice on 31.01.2022

08.12.2021

The transformation of our electrical energy transmission and distribution networks is one of the greatest challenges of our time. The development of high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission systems is one of the key issues in ensuring a sustainable and reliable supply of electrical energy. This is a challenge for both the energy suppliers and the community of high-voltage engineers from industry and research, because energy transmission systems require an extraordinarily long service life, reliability and resilience against adverse operating conditions.

On this topic, the Institute for Particle Acceleration and Electromagnetic Fields (TU Darmstadt) is organizing a one-day symposium together with the Professorship of High Voltage Engineering and Switchgear Technology at the TU Munich on 31.01.2022. The participation is free of charge, only a registration until 28.01.2022 is requested.

More information and the possibility to register can be found on the homepage of the Graduate School CE.
