Ph.D. and PostDoc positions

Who We’re Looking For

You hold a M.Sc. or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or computer science with outstanding marks. You have expertise in electromagnetic compatibility, power electronics, numerical algorithms, electromagnetic field theory, or field simulation. Proficiency in German and/or English is required.

You are eager to engage in:

  • Mathematical modeling & simulation of real-world electromagnetic and multiphysical phenomena
  • Electromagnetic compatibility challenges and industry-focused simulation solutions
  • Close collaboration with one of Germany’s leading tech companies on cutting-edge research
  • Application-oriented research that delivers measurable impact in industrial settings

What We Offer

We provide fully-funded positions (scholarships to full-time E13 salary ) for Ph.D. students (3–5 years) and PostDocs (up to 3 years). You'll work with state-of-the-art equipment, attend 1–3 conferences per year, and benefit from free skill-building courses via TU Darmstadt’s Ingenium network. Expect expert supervision, technical support, and a collaborative, international work environment.
